To disable predictive texting on Motorola V360:

  1. Select the "Texting," "Text Messaging" or similar option on the menu screen.
  2. Choose the "Text Options" or "Options" selection on the "Text Messaging" screen. Choose "New Message" or "New Msg" if no "Options" selection is available, then press the button associated with the "Options" selection found on the blank message screen.
  3. Select "Entry Mode" on the screen. A list of options appear.
  4. Select a non-iTap mode, such as "Symbols" or "abc2." Press "OK." The iTap entry mode is disabled.

How to undo predictive text v3

Hi,

Welcome to Fixya. If you want to undo the preddictive text just follow the guide below.

1. From any text entry screen (ie. when you are writing a text message), press the top center button, the one above the directional wheel.

2. Press on Entry SetUp

3. Select the Primary Set Up or Secondary Setup by choosing your preferred input mode among the ones below. Us the wheel by pressing on the right arrow to change mode:

ITAP: it's a built-in software which predicts the word you are typing. THIS IS PREDICTIVE TEXT

TAP: enter individual letters and numbers by pressing the keys multiple times. Ie. for the letter F press the number 3 button three times.

Tap Extended: enter individual letters, numbers and symbols by pressing the keys multiple times

To change from one mode to the next you can select it by pressing the top center button from a text entry screen, and Press on Entry Mode. Shortcut: you can press the # key on your phone when you are writing a message and you will see abc1 for your primary mode, 123 for numeric; @ for symbols; and abc2 for your secondary mode.
If you have questions please let me know. Thanks for using Fixya.

How do you turn predictive text off?

While in text you should be able to hit hash key and at the top right hand
corner see it change from abc (no pre) 123, abc Pre, &, if you select just abc, it should be off.

Predictive should be abc with a little square next to it.

I ca only text 1 letter

When you go to create new message you will see at the top left corner ABC1 and you want to be on ABC2.

So all you have to do is push the # key until you see ABC2.

Their is also setting 123 for numbers and @% for Symbols.

Hope this is help for you!!!!

How do I type capital letters when I text message? I have abc1, abc2, 123, @%, but don't know how to add caps to my text sentences (other than the first letter of each sentence). Thanks!

Depends upon the set but usually this could be done bay pressing the hash key(#) OR the star(*) key.

also try keep pressing these keys.

Motorola k1 problem

Pressing the # key changes the entry modes:

Abc1 = single character
123 = numbers (of course :)
& = special characters
Abc2 = predictive text.

Hope that helps.
