I don't quite understand the question, but if you want to install this printer, the best way is to go to Epson website and download the drivers for your exact model. Run the downloaded package which will install the correct drivers and you're in business. Remember to plug in the printer when asked to during the installation, not sooner.

Hello, just google 'Epson Stylus Photo R220' and go to the Epson website where you will see a section marked 'Drivers and Support'.
You will be able to download your drivers from there.

you don't need the cd drive to instal the original drivers. Download the driers for your OS versio from the link above and install it

that you can check (print in greyscale) or (print in black & white).
You have to remembe to uncheck to print in color.

It complicate the data , If you have cd for r220 delete data in computer you must back first before you deleting that file , reintall r220 CD again , reintall epson support , then ok.
