The all-in-one product display always reads "Initializing" This may occur in a low power situation. Follow these steps in order to determine the cause:

  1. Verify that the computer and the all-in-one product have a three-prong power plug.
  2. Unplug the product cable from any power strips or surge suppressors, and plug it directly into a grounded (three-prong) wall outlet.
  3. If the all-in-one has an ADF with an external cable plugging into the back of the product:
    1. Turn off the unit.
    2. Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet.
    3. Unplug the ADF cable from the back of the product.
    4. Plug the ADF cable to the back of the product.
    5. Plug in the power cable, and turn on the power.
      • If no change, the problem is not the ADF.
      • If the problem clears, turn off the all-in-one, unplug the power cable, and plug in the ADF.
      • If the error returns, the ADF is defective. Contact HP Customer Care to get the ADF replaced.
  4. Unplug the USB or parallel communication cable from the back of the all-in-one and try to power up the all-in-one. The computer may be grounding out through the communications cable. If this corrects the issue, check the grounding of the computer and outlet. If the above steps did not resolve your issue, contact HP for additional issue verification or the servicing of your product.

Screen says initializing

You may have a faulty battery/phone. This seems to be a common problem with this type of phone. If you can take it and have them check it for SAFETY CONCERNS That would be ideal, as they can reset it for you.
Caution! This WILL erase everything on the phone. You will have to confirm you want to do this before it will complete. (This is why you backup your phone. You may wish to remove the SD card FIRST.)
1. Ensure the device is powered off.
2. Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds then release.
3. With the LED illuminated red, press and hold the Power button+Volume down key+Camera key simultaneuously then release.
The LED illuminates approximately 20-30 seconds after releasing the power button (step 2). The 3-key combination must be pressed within the 1-2 second timeframe that the LED is illuminated.
4. Press the Power button to confirm and continue.
5. Again, press the Power button to confirm and continue.
( Allow several minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.)

Looking remove all stored channels from scanner and start over.

Initializing the scanner will erase all programmed information and return your scanner to its original factory settings. To initialize your scanner:

- Power the scanner OFF.
- Power the scanner ON. "Multi-system Trunking Scanner" appears on the display.
- Press 0 (zero) while the above message is displayed.
- Press 1.
- Press ENT. "Initializing please stand by" appears on the display.

DO NOT power the scanner OFF until the initializing process is complete and the display shows "M000 Bank0 Ch00"

Lambda ews600-18 voltage goes down.

there is a short circuit protection and overoad protection to smps so o/p capacitor may short or secondary diode may short .so check voltage at primary when switched off after 33seconds whether switching process is going or not for that check dc volt at i/p capacitor then check volt at collector of transistor if metr shows 1digit then switching is going if not then meter shows full dc volt check component near about that

Unable to initialized

"Unable to Init" indicates a mechanical error, unless you're able to find a stuck paper or parts of a stuck paper or similar, you'll have to send the unit to service to have it fixed.

SCANNER FAILURE

This is probably a power issue. If you have many devices plugged in to one socket, the printer can't get enough power to start up or start the scanner. If you have a power extended cable, remover it and plug in te printer direct in the wallsocket.

DC power supply HP 6654A

This indicates a failure during Power-on Self test that there is a fault with the DACS or secondary VDAC/IDAC readback.

If a simple on/off cycle of your power supply doesn't resolve the problem, your supply will require servicing.
