Sir this problem is most common one .but it needs to be done by
sophisticated tools and well trained technicians.
here whole lens system has been damaged.
if lens(inner glass) is broken then it must be sent to authorised service centre.

Screen says lens problem

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism (look closely for sand particles around the lens barrel of your camera. A single grain of sand can jam in the gaps around the barrel, preventing the barrel from closing. Use air or a thin sheet of paper to dislodge them). Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ... Unfortunately, many cameras that fall prey to this can only be corrected by professional repair. But, here are some things that you can do that may correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try.

Canon ixus 60 - lens error restart, restart camera

Dear God, It was like a comedy. I got on the whale boat, after having the Canon ixus 60 for 4 years. I've never had any error messages. The whales came 10 feet from the boat and twice raised their head, and no camera, just the beeping and the error message: lens error; restart camera. How do you restart the ixus 60 Canon digital camera, anyone? Please help!! Thanks Claire@klarity.org, Maui, Hawaii. Aloha!! & Mahalo.

The following blog outlines some repair options for a lens error. They won't work for all cases, but they're worth a try if the camera's no longer under warranty:
