Question about Canon PIXMA iP1600 Printer

My Canon Pixma iP1600 will not print in black only.I have run out of color.

I have tried to change the settings to black and it doesn't seem to help.

Remove the black cartridge try to see if has an ink.if you sure that it was full, these may cause by some ink may come sticky, try to clean it with a soft material. if not work the; deep the tip of the cartridge to a warm water for a five seconds. then rub it with a soft cloth then test.
if not work then ;
Maybe its pretty to replace your ink with a new one.

Ink cartridges can't be refilled more than a few times before they lose vacuum or can hold pressure which can affect performance.

You'll have to set up you printer preferences. Click on start - printers - RMB on your printer and select properties - preferences - set your preferences.

You may running out of the colored ink.. just make sure you change it before it runs out.. make sure you buy a colored ink for Canon Pixma iP1600.. the cartridge of the colored ink of your printer has a number infront of it.. eg: Canon CI-41
