Re: Dryer Walking!

Does it do it if it's empty?

please check this first.
get a level at home depot if you don't have one $2 and see if the dryer is leveled, if not level it with a block of wood or anything you want to have it leveled, then try it (unloaded)

Washing machine walking

Make sure the washing machine is on a level and even surface. If the machine has adjustable feet ensure they are set correctly and that the machine does not rock back and forth or from side to side.

I cant lift trhe bottom aggitate plate in my hmwm8000 i have removed the cap and phillips head screw how tov lift the plate?

there should be a bolt holding aggitator on spines,if not try grabbing aggitator and pulling up while rocking aggitator back and forth it will require a great amount of force to remove aggitator fron splined shaft, also so penatrating spray may help sprayed on splined shaft. It also may need to be cleaned around splined shaft to clean built up soap build up. also a haet gun or a hair dryer on high heat on top of aggitator shaft when trying to remove may help!

On spin the machine knocks loadly and "walks" on the floor. Machine is level, on a sturdy floor and the feet are positioned so that it cannot "rock back and forth" (i.e., this is not your typical "unlevel"...

A failed bearing will make a rumbling sound as the basket spins. The faster it spins the louder the sound gets. I would check to see if the spider arms are broken. If you turn the basket by hand, if you hear any kind of thumping sound as you turn the basket, this could indicate the one or more of the spider arms are broken. If they are, it is an expensive repair.

Kenmore 11066812694 dryer whirring noise in back

Could be the rollers holding up the drum, or the motor blower fan.

Brand new Samsung wf219anw/xaa model, when going through the spin cycle it sounds like a helicopter landing and it walks, I only put in 5 pairs of jeans or towles. A tech came and said that is a normal...

I assume that the shipping screws were removed before using.
If they were, then make sure washer is level at all points.
The load you refer too, could well have gone out of balance, and this could cause it to move..
If noise still persists, then I would call them back again.
Hope this helps.

Malber wd 1000 walking

If machine is new, it's possible the white plastic "shipping restrainer" was not removed from beneath machine. This gadget holds the drum in place, so it can rotate but not swing around on its spring mountings. If this is the case, just tip machine way back, and look beneath. If I remember correctly, the restraint is about 6"x9" at bottom - and I think it has two pointed "cones" that stick up about 6".

Also, check that 4 restraining bolts were removed from rear. Check your manual for details on those.

One of these will FixYa!
