posted by monie0102 on Jan 04, 2008

my speakers won't play any sound, the device seems to have disappeared somewhere else in my system. When I troubleshoot I get "the device is working properly" yet when I try to play a sound manually, it says there is an error. I have Manhattan (finest quality computer products). Please help....

I have troubleshooted every way possible. Nothing works, my system tells me that the device is working properly but I still can't get it to work

I would recommend you to uninstall the sound device which is under your device manager...click start and hit run..type devmgmt.msc....then look for the sound device and unistall it..then try to reinstall it again...
