it's evil, I swear. I plug it in, and the only files it recognizes are my recorded audio files, not my music. it doesn't list what's actually on the player, but acknowledges that it is 4.5 GBs full. WHAT???

its hidden so you have to go to the control panel and search folders and make it show hidden folders and files.

I couldn't for the life of me figure out where the player was storing its files so I could find them in Windows Explorer. Turns out the "Music" folder is hidden, and you have to tell Windows to display hidden files and folders (in your Windows Folder Options, usually found in your Control Panel).

Open up your windows media player and click on the sync tab..your device should be listed there..and also it will show you all the songs you have in there...or you can just format the whole player..formatting will erase everything in that player...

You have to make sure that the device is on MSC mode...then make sure your device is plug in to the computer..Then go to programs - accesories - windows explorer, find the SanDisk in my computer, go to media, music and delete them from there.
Either under sync pane in windows media player it will show your music when it's connected. just click the plus signs for what song you need to get rid of, right click and click delete.
Hope this helps
If you still not able to delete it let me know so I can have you try something else...
P.S.Please rate accordingly...
Thank You
