Question about Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer
My washer will fill up and start to agitate. After a couple of seconds it stops and a buzzing noise comes from the timer. A couple minutes later it starts again and then stops after a few seconds with the buzzing noise again. I am assuming(hoping) it is the timer. Please confirm.
Maybe. Sounds like the motor is not agitating in the other direction??? There is a controller on this type of machine which handles the starting...direction of the motor..this is by far the most common for your description.
next would be the timer or transmission.
to check trans..grab top lip of bowl it should be locked in both directions. tilt machine back..you should be able to spin the pulley in both directions it not its the trans
I'm sorry bout the flow of this...not used to doing it like this...think i'm slowly getting better????
