Missing Pictures

I have an Olympus FE-170 digital camera and I had deleted some pictures off my memory card manually, one by one. When i was finished i shut it off. When i turned my camera back on again every one of my pictures were deleted like i had formated it. Is there any way i can get my pictures back? They mean so much to me!

I have same problem but i havent formated them yet. When i turn it off and on the format thing wont go away and i cant get rid of it what do i do?? :S I dont want to delet all my pictures!
