try rebooting to safe mode by hitting F8 during booting. then restore your system to a date that your computer works normally. sometimes antivirus makes your system runs slow and also virus will make your system slow. if restoring doesnt work, back up your files and reformat your computer and install a fresh window. be sure to have all your drivers, windows cd and programs cd before doing this..goodluck!

If you are comforable.with your computers you can:

1. Start
2. Run
3. smconfig
4. Start up tab
5. Then get rid of the thing you don't want to start up and run..
6. Service tab
7. Then get rid of the thing you don't want to start up and run..

*Becarefull on what you turn off.
**Best rule of thumb you click (#7) Hide all Microsoft Services.

This will give you the chance to delete them if you find them...
