Upload non-Canon pictures to Canon A540

Is there a way to upload pictures to my Canon A540 not taken with my digital camera?

I want to put the pics on a disc so I can use it in my digital frame, but do not have a card reader slot on my PC.

I have exactly the same problem. When I try to upload the pictures the canon either resizes the pictures to a size that is too small or too big. If I try not to let it to the VAG part the pictures don't load or come out black.

Upload from the camera using the usb cord to your computer..
dont try to write to the sd card while connected to the computer.

sir the memory card that you have in your camera do not allow pics to upload.Because the card that we put in the camera only allow picture to download from it.It will not allow pics to upload to it.If you want to upload pics to your camera try after putting a micro SD card.For that you should buy a micro SD adapter.After putting micro SD into that adapter you can put that into your camera.Then it will allow both uploading and downloading.

I can't delete photos off my ScanDisc stick unless I manually do them individually, nor can I upload photos from my computer ONTO my camera. I get a "write-protected" message. How do I undo the write...

First of all, you're not supposed to upload from the computer to the camera. You risk corrupting the card and camera. If you want to delete all the pics from the memory card, just insert the card into the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions.

I have a canon power shot A540 and i always pluged it into my camera to upload pics now when i plug it in nothing happens, the camera says nothing and niether does the computer. what can be the problem.

You can blame windows update for your problems. Now, get yourself a separate card reader and use it for downloads from now on.

Probably a Microsoft update is the culprit. Use a card reader to download your pictures to a folder you create on your desktop.

My pictures are too big and will not upload to our company web site. I can't find my book so I do not know how to set the size.

Pictures won't upload onto camera

there is solution for viewing the other size files in ur camera sir.

because camera is designed to read only that size of images.

Memory card

use a sd memory card reader-no software-plug and play-make sure you don't have 2 folders in camera storing pics in different places-check in menus for folder numbers
