Question about Rockford Fosgate Punch Stage P110 S4 Car Subwoofer

2 Answers

Sub installation ok so i bought two 10" rockford subwoofers and i also bought the box that was made for them which is a Q-logic dual chamber enclosure. Now i know where to place the wires into to hook them up but the wires that are on the box are too big to fit into the actual sub itself, and i was wondering can i just bend the wire tip to fit into the sub or do i have to strip the wire and buy a new head for the wire?

You would be better served to go to a local shop and get the correct fittings to fit the connections, and use those to connect your subs. Just running the wire tips will result in loosed connections and plenty of headaches..

Hi i have a few questions. I have bought a dual 12 " sub box and i need 2 subs and one amp to go with it. I want intence base that will impress! I am currently looking at 2 Alpine SWR-12D4 they are...

It's been my experience, that intense and low bass comes with a price, always remember u get what u pay for,so on that note,Try to get Rockford Fosgate Competition subs with a punch 250 or 500 trust me that it is a powerful combination.and if u can afford it get a choke to put on ur subs so they will only kick bass put tweeters in the dash and mid range speakers in the door u could use a dual rca jacks to install 2 amps at once and get a punch 45 amp for the tweeters and mids.hope this was helpful

two channel will do with the same power power rating of your speakers ex. your speaker is 500 watts per piece so you need to buy a 500 watts per channel amplifier

Two 10" Rockford Fosgate P1 subwoofers stopped making sound

Sounds like you've blown them.

When you were playing back to the friend, were you playing louder than usual?

Was the old box ported, and the new one sealed? The lack of ventilation may have caused the blow...

Ok my Dual speaker box has lights but they wont turn on

Sounds like the transformer is bad. They are either on the ends of the tubes or located in the sub chamber. follow the + and - to the transformer(s).

Hope this sheds some light on it!!!

How to buy the best subwoofer

There are several factors to what sounds good in a subwoofer. Your head unit, amp, enclosure size and enclosure type as well as where its placed. I tend to think that fosgates are superior to a lot of speakers but orion and JL are making some pretty impressive speakers too. Check the speakers need for airspace and make sure you can accomodate it. If you can, and the resonant frequency is more to your liking then move up to fosgates. Personally, I think the difference MIGHT be minimal assuming you are using the same inclosure, amp and head unit. Good Luck!
