The problem is with your RAM sir , if you know to remove the side cover of the machine remove it by un screwing the screws at the back side of the tower(machine), after that you can see a green color chip vertically fixed with motherboard, thats RAM it is locked with the to white color notches at the two ends of the RAM, hence you have to remove the RAM separately and have to erase the goled color contacts of the RAM using an normal eraser,

after that fix the RAM as it is by carefully watching the small cut in the RAM , the RAM should be locked inside by preessing it hardly to move inside the slot. the picture of RAM is this only , Thank you dont forget to vote.Try to turn on one of my emachines and all it does - 8f8498f.jpg

Emachine T5234 beeps 5 times and won't turn on

5 Short BeepsYour motherboard is complaining. Try reseating the memory and rebooting. If that doesn't help, you should consider another motherboard. You could probably get away with just replacing the CPU, but that's not too cost-effective. Its just time to upgrade!

Making beeping sound when i start up the computer

Hello,

A beep sound can be due to memory problem.

First use the following steps:

1 Turn off the system and disconnect power cables
2 Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds
3 Reconnect power cables and try to turn it on.

If you still get a continuous beep sound, the next step will be to re-seat memory modules (after turning off the system).

Emachine T5062 pc wont turn on, I get 5 beeps When the computer performs the ''Power on system test''. I could not remember what BIOS the computer had but I think It was AMI. The five beeps for AMI mean...

make sure it is not getting really hot, also try cleaning all again and start putting them together step by step. make sure the dust didn't got in another part like RAM memories slots, and if you have a big problem with the processor the PC wouldn't even start, wont even turn on.

On boot up the emachine now beeps every 5 seconds

Reboot with "F8" held down.
you are only booting to bios and minimum disk software. This may give you an indication of your monitor or video driver status.

If you can borrow another monitor from someone, that would confirm your monitors status....

Beeping emachine desktop won't turn on

Hi shyguy,

Before I address your issue, I figured you ought to know:

Buying an emachine is one of the worst moves a consumer can make. Why? because despite the fact that they are cheap, they frequently have problems, which can take money out of your pocket. Not only that, but they can be a pain in the *** in general. The old saying "You get what you pay for" should certainly be followed to some degree when purchasing a computer.

Now that I got that out of the way, on to your problem. I have a feeling that your motherboard might be shot. Before I have you think that, I want you to see if you can open it up and check to make sure your RAM is seated in the slot properly. If that doesn't work, then I think your motherboard is most likely gone.

If you need any more assistance, I'd be glad to try and lend a hand. You can e-mail me at [email protected]

Good Luck.
