Sony PS2 Dual Shock 2 Controller

PS2 CONTROLLER CONNECTOR

The connection plug on the end of the controller has got one pin pushed in. I need to know if it is at all possible how to open up that plug. If so how?
It has 9 pins.

I don't think you can. but if you go to here you can try and get it RMA, which means, you send them the item, and they'll send you a brand new one for free. but they might charge S and H.
