Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
The boot inside the door is ripped...again! this is the 2nd time in 5 years. I was only washing a small blanket. why is this happening? do I need to expext a $100 repair every 2 or 3 years? thanks for any help.
It's usually not a good idea to wash single items in a front loader. This is because it can't properly balance the load. Either the item won't come out dry enough or if it does manage to spin the machine will shake violently until one of the shocks comes loose. When that happens the tub tilts down and to one side twisting the boot.
