I have Sharp 2300N. I've got "Maintenance Required Code:CA" all over the LCD panel. Can't print, scan and copy. Is there a way for this? TIA

Msg on my Sharp MX2300N

The TA code refers to the maintenance cycle of the copier. Its the copiers way of saying ''come and see if im ok''. I would recommend resetting the maintenance counters for your drums, developer, fuser and transfer belts. This can be done in the engineers menus.

Tk2 error

TK2 is for the secondary transfer unit located on the side door. The code will come on after a certain number of total prints, depending on the model. Enter service mode by pressing # * C *, enter number 24 and press the copy button, then enter number 4 and press copy. Highlight everything that says TC2 and press execute on the touch screen. CA will reboot.

Maintenance required: code dk

Ok so the DK code means that the Black drum counter has reached its limit
To clear this you need to clear this easy you want
# , * , c , *
To enter service mode
Type in code 24 press start
Then you want sub code 07
Then you can select what you want to clear so the bk drum unit
Execute this yes then press the CA key the machine will restart and away you go
I also do advise that you service representative comes along at some point to check the machine it could need parts because if you stretch the life of parts your machine could become unreliable... But that is up to you.

Colored lines are printing on the printed copies. It does not occur when we copy items, only when they are printed. The maintenance code "AA" is on the screen as well. I don't know what that code means....

When this happens, you need to clean the scanning area. When you lift the top cover, you will see a green clip on the right hand side (of the actual cover) and you clean the scanning section on the left hand side on both the bottom of the cover and on the base where you would put your original copies.

Then open where you put the toners in, and pull out on the green rods a few times each, and this will help clear the grid.

Sharp mx-2300N printer error maintenance required code vk

VK means black developer has reached end of life. You can safly carry on using the copier with this message displayed but over time the copy quality may slowly degrade. You will need to call a Sharp authorized dealer to replace the developer in the developer unit.
