Help! My Canon DC201 will not load any new mini-disk

Help! My Canon DC201 will not load any new disk I put in. It cannot read it, says check it. Any used disk is fine, I can load, initialise and record. I have tried Maxell, Sony and Jessops own: Maxell and Jessops I have used before, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the disks.
