Problem for Palm Treo 680 Smartphone
XP Pro, SP3, with all patches. No longer permits

XP Pro, SP3, with all patches. No longer permits Palm Desktop to connect via USB to my Treo 680 (or 650) but will connect via BlueTooth. Computer recognizes Treo over USB but can't connect Palm Desktop via USB. I suspect a fairly recent driver or other update messed up my USB. Tried 2 other computers, total of 3 phones. all had connected before and now none will connect. Re-installed original version of desktop as well as latest version. HELP!
