Question about Toshiba 65HX81 65" Rear Projection Television
While watching a movie the screen went blank and the power indicator light started blinking. I unplugged for one hour and plugged back in and the light continues to blink with a blank screen.
Check soldered in micro fuses...F850, F851 etc.....
1) solder jumper wires on signal board = 008,010,017,048,600
2) Check / replace STK392-110 convergence IC's with Toshiba
part # 23135090 or upgade to Hitachi part # CZ01341
Let me know....................T.

This indicates a hardware problem. The blinking lights mean your TV is in protection mode.
You need to call a TV repair guy to diagnose the problem.

AKB circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking, try turning up screen slightly.
