I have a GSS25KGMD fridge. I opened the Fridge

I have a GSS25KGMD fridge. I opened the Fridge compartment top part was very warm and the bottom was cooler. Upon investigating more I noticed that the fridge bulb was very hot. So I pushed the fridge on/off light switch and noticed that the switch appears to be malfunctioning. I also noticed that if I play with the switch with the light in it sometimes goes off and I feel that the fridge fan blows cool air. By looking at the schematics the light switch circuit doesn't appear to control the fan. Yet I noticed that playing with the switch soetimes I can control the fridge fan. Is there some temp sensor that trips the fan off if the compartment gets to hot.
