One long beep indicates that the Computer passed all the POST test. Also Two Short beep indicates that a Memory parity error has occurred in the Computer and RAM Stick may be bad.

But as you mentioned one long beep sound followed by two short beep, it indicates about the error in Video BIOS ROM or in Video Card.

Try resetting the CMOS Memory; but as it is a Notebook Computer so it is complicated process if you are not familiar with the Computer Hardware.

I suggest that you try with different RAM Stick and check.

If the issue persist then contact any nearest Service Center to diagnose the Computer or replace the Video Card to resolve the issue.
