I have sahara al-096 notebook and keep getting a

I have the same problem, my Sahara Notebook Image book's usb ports are all not recognizing any usb device i have tried to reistall the os but nothing happening, so what can i do coz the recovery disk was lost.

The reason the USB device is not recognized can be several things, the device is no longer functioning properly, or the drivers for the device cannot be found, or are damaged.

Try plugging the device into a different computer's USB port, if it functions, than you will need to determine if the USB port on your laptop you were using is faulty, or if the drivers are faulty.

re-installing the drivers will tell you quickly if it's the drivers, or the USB port.

If the device does not function on another machine, than more than likely the device is faulty.
