How to upload pictures? what are the properties of a PSP image

Hi, charlesleigh!
The PSP supports most common image formats, to upload the images do the following
  1. Insert a Memory Stick into the Memory Stick slot in the left side of the PSP. Depending on how many photos you want it to hold, you may need to get a larger one than the stick that came with your system.
  2. Turn on the PSP.
  3. Plug a USB cable into the back of the PSP and into your PC or Mac. The USB cable needs to have a Mini-B connector on one end (this plugs into the PSP), and a standard USB connector on the other (this plugs into the computer).
  4. Scroll to the "Settings" icon on the home menu of your PSP.
  5. Find the "USB Connection" icon in the "Settings" menu. Press the X button. Your PSP will display the words "USB Mode" and your PC or Mac will recognize it as a USB storage device.
  6. If there isn't one already, create a folder called "PSP" on the PSP Memory Stick -- it shows up as "Portable Storage Device" or something similar -- (you can use Windows Explorer on a PC, or Finder on a Mac).
  7. If there isn't one already, create a folder called "PHOTO" inside the "PSP" folder (on newer firmware versions, this folder may also be called "PICTURE").
  8. Drag and drop image files into the "PHOTO" or "PICTURE" folder just as you would save files in another folder on your computer.
  9. Disconnect your PSP by first clicking on "Safely Remove Hardware" on the bottom menu bar of a PC, or by "ejecting" the drive on the Mac (drag the icon into the trash). Then unplug the USB cable and press the circle button to return to the home menu.

If this didn't fix your issue please let me know. Hope this helped you!

First, on your computer you will need to find the pictures that you want on your PSP. I chose two pictures of the Instructables Robot.

Next, you will need to plug your PSP into the computer using the PSP to computer cord as in picture 1. Then, on your PSP go under the settings menu, and select the option that says USB connection as in picture 1. You should now be in USB mode on your PSP.
More Stuff On the Computer
Now that your PSP is in USB mode, the computer should recognize it and open an options menu. Now that your computer is displaying an options menu, select the option that says open folder to view files as in picture 1.
Folders On Your PSP
Now, your computer should be displaying the folders on your PSP. Next, open the folder that says PSP as in picture 1.

How do i set up my psp to my pc i have no manual

First, you need a Micro-USB to USB cord (plug the Micro-USB end into the PSP, and the USB end into the PC's USB port). If you don't have one, you can get it from Ebay or Amazon, just search 'PSP Transfer Cord' or something like that. After you've plugged it in, put your PSP in 'USB Mode' and then your computer should say 'Found New Device' and then 'Installing New Hardware' overtop of an icon in the tray. After it's installed successfully, go to my computer, and click the letter of whatever port you plugged it into (i.e., 'Drive F'). You should see some folders saying 'MUSIC', 'PICTURES', 'VIDEO', etc.

***NOTE: If your computer doesn't do anything when you plug your PSP in USB Mode into it, try using another USB port, or try going to My Computer to see if it's already there.

what it doesn't tell you in the instuctions is that you should make a new folder called music in the psp folders window when it pops up showing whats saved on your psp. Make sure you have a decent size duo memory card fitted as this is where the songs will be saved; not on the psp itself. But in your psp settings make sure you have selected USB connection or it wont connect and show anything on your pc.
