Where can I purchase battery for fx730 portable DVD player

Unfortunately you can not buy a new battery since it is not sold by Sony. It is possible to patch a similar cell into your existing battery. Be warned that it would be difficult to do this.

My daughter spilled water on Sony portable DVD player, now it won't turn on

No! when water enters it will rapidly corrode the ic pins and other critical parts, best to replace the player.

I have a Sylvannia SDVD9000 portable DVD player. My parents bought it for my son for Christmas and we've never figured out how to charge the battery. My son has watched many movies with it plugged in,...

In order to charge the battery you must plug in the power supply AND then turn the off/on switch to OFF. You should see the blue light in front change to red. and you are now charging... Tadah

How should i store my poetable dvd player battery?

Store it full charge. If you store it low charge, then battery life will be compromised. Research and tests have proven that storing batteries full charged will extend its life. Also make sure that you charge stored batteries every 3 months to further extend its life.

Not charging

I would say that the battery is not accepting a charge because it has gone bad or the charging circuit is not working properly and the battery is not charging.
If you can get a battery to test it with, you can see if the battery charges or if it is just that your battery has gone south. Rechargable batteries have a limited number of charges and if they are allowed to go totally dead and they sit that way for a long time they will not take a charge anymore.

Portable dvd players

Hi Sharon,
do you still need additional battery packs? the model 705 come with 2 slightly different batteries (they are not interchageable). I have 2 of the battery model BAT-05, which I will sell for $40 each + shipping. The other is an ealier model with not battery #. That one is $40 + shipping also. They all keep a good charge. email me at [email protected]

Canon dc210

It sounds like you may have a faulty battery or charger.

Take the extra battery and whatever you used to charge it (camcorder or battery charger) back to the shop where you bought it and get them to help you figure out what's wrong with their product. Your purchase is still under warranty and you deserve to have a product that works.
