Problem with i860 phone

I have two i860's phone but on one of the phone the motherboard no longer work and on the other the screen was all messed up so wat i did was i took the motherboard that was working and put it in the phone that had the good screen!!the phone work but will not read any sim card and instead of sayin nextel or boost on top it would say ready can somebody help me out???!!!

Take the phone and have them reflash it for you.....take it to a mobile store repair shop.

I860 microphone problem

if you know bit of minor repairs just open the cover and all the screws go to the microphone and stretch the springs on both sides and fix it as you opened then it will work perfectly if you dont know just take it to the repairer

No, the i860 is a Nextel phone and uses iDEN as its technology.

Services like AT&T and T-Mobile use GSM, and only those types of SIM cards would work with each other.

While the i860 does take a SIM card, it is a very different SIM for different technology, and are completely not compatible. Sorry....

On my phone or on every phone wether it is a nextel or boost....on the screen the boost nextel logo is on display i need to know what code i can use to change it so i can put my name or such on it instead...

The only phone i know which this is possible is the i860
there is a program to do it here
