SOURCE: power on n off

I also had this problem with my DSC-S730. Take the batteries out and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Get new name brand alkaline batteries. Warm them in your hands and insert them properly and close the battery door. Then hold the camera upside down so the batteries make good contact and press the review (>) button.

SOURCE: sony cyber-shot dsc-w200 taking blurry pictures in auto mode...

Its due to slow shutter speed setting.
If you want to take moving object picture, set high speed shutter, there would an icon of golf stick that is for moving object pictures.

SOURCE: SONY- CYBER SHOT W170-VERY LATE RESPONSE - NOT ABLE TO CLICK PICS

Sometimes with these newer cameras that are coming out now the memory card is very important on which brand you use and what the manufacturer recommends . This causes the camera to act weird turn on then off or show blank screens and the shutter to stay extended or so on. It may or may not be the fix but try that in mine i had too much SD gig it did not support and then when i checked manufacturers recommendations they said up to 8 gig and "their brand" and that they never tested off brands to work or not! I hoped that helped.

When I turn on my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W35 the screen is dark with the word "Access" on it, moments later it tells me to power it off adn on again, any ideas?

Its lens error in your DSC-W35 camera.
Lens mechanism is either stuck or not retract completely and system control sense this error. Please replace lens assembly to get it fixed because lens mechanism is not repairable.
Thanks.

your lens is possibly damaged or seriously out of alignment - replacing lens is easier , than opening the camera ( hard to believe how many tiny screws etc . are in the way ) plus if you do open it . . . ? few technicians will work on it , after .
