How do I stop my printer from skipping a blank row of labels in between each row I print?

I was using LibreOffice Writer to print terminal block labels on my TDP43MY and was having all kinds of problems. (I tried EasyMark too, but had just as many problems.) The printer was constantly switching landscape and portrait modes on me. It would print 2 sets of good labels (portrait) and then the next label would be landscape. It did this no matter if I printed one page at a time or if I printed the whole document. I spent over half a day trying to get it to work, and finally succeeded - read on.

No surprise that the Panduit TDP43MY printer is really a Zebra printer. I discovered this by accident when I first got the printer. I connected it without first installing the driver and windows asked for a driver for a Zebra printer. Knowing it was a Panduit, I rejected windows offer and installed the Panduit driver. I spent a whole day trying to get it to print correctly and decided I would try windows recommendation of a Zebra driver. I did some digging and discovered it is a Zebra TLP 3842 printer. I removed the Panduit driver and installed the Zebra TLP 3842 driver. The version I have says "Windows driver for ZDesigner TLP 3842 Version Copyright 2016". I then used LibreOffice Writer to print my labels again. Wonder of wonders it printed with ZERO problems! Yeah for Zebra!

Zebra eltron LP 2824 printing too light

This could simply be old direct thermal labels. Direct thermal labels have a shelf life of about 1 year from the date of manufacture. After that time has lapsed the thermal coating on the labels begins to dissipate and this will cause labels to print light or faded. You can trouble shoot with a roll known to be fresh. You can get one free here to test Labeldomain com .

Panduit printer tdp43my wont print

There are lots of possible problems here: printer broken, bad cable to computer, bad roll of ribbon, labels don't match ribbon. I was having problems getting my TDP43MY to print correctly. I ended up removing the Panduit driver for the TDP43MY and installing the Zebra driver for the TLP 3842 instead. Turns out Zebra makes this printer. The Zebra driver worked much better for me. If you think everything else is fine (printer OK, cable OK, etc.) you might try installing the Zebra driver and see if that helps.

Can't get the Zebra S4m printer to align? How should I trouble shoot this? Sonya

I am assuming you mean misalignment of lable top or start of print moving on label.

check sensor for lable debris.

if OK then perform media calibration:

Enter menu and scroll to ADVANCED

press enter and use password 9999

Remove a few labels and remove ribbon

Press right arrow to continue display CALIBRATING PLEASE WAIT.

When complete reload ribbon and labels press right arrow printer will feed approx 39"

printer should now print OK.

I have a Zebra Z4M printer. We use it to print on various labels - pre-printed and blank labels (semi-gloss). I've been struggling to print on one of the pre-printed labels. Everything else prints...

some labels are hard to calibrate, nee to calibrate the sensors with manual calibration.
2}take 2 or 3 labels from the base paber, load the way to the based paper stay unther the sensors, 3}close printhead.
4} press ok.
5} Move the ribbon out from sensors and close the printhead.
6) press ok
7) wen printer ask RELOAD ALL, load the labels correcly and the ribbon, close the printhead and the top door, and press ok. The printer run the calibration it self.
wen finish, saved (press setub twice) and test.

I am having problems with our Zebra Stripe S600 if I ask it to print 500 labels it will only print 3 then I have to line the label and ribbon back up, any advise would be gratefull

Recalibrate the printer, it seems it might have lost it's calibration. Chekc and clean all sensors in the paperpath with Isopropyl Alcohol.

We have our printer set up to print barcode labels

Have you checked for minute folds in your ribbon? Once you get a fold in the ribbon, no matter how small, you may have to manually feed several feet of ribbon through to get rid of the ripple. We have had similar problems in the past with inexperienced operators installing new ribbons.

The Zebra 11oXill printer does not stop when the ribbon is out

Yes. You need to be sure the upper Media Guide plate is installed and that you have run the Media Sensor setup that is offered through the menu. Once the setup has been run correctly, the printer will be able to sense the ribbon is miising and stop the print job. If not setup, it will do as you have described.
