So you see that an N64 consoles internal parts are similar to a computers parts but it is a simple software then. A simple software means it was only designed for playing games and thats about it so when the console resets its self its saying oh im going to fix this problem so I dont think that it can fix the problem so it will reset on and off the walls then. The proessing software is bad and going bad on you too. If an actual computer rested its self it would work after because they ahve advance softwares then. To fix the redo problem you need to install a new motherboard for the console.
Donkey Kong 64wasoneof only three Nintendo64games to require theExpansion Pak(the others being The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and Perfect Dark), which provides 4 MB more RAM for enhanced graphics and more expansive environments, as well as to fix a game-breaking bug.We don't think that you can play this game with no expansion pack. I have tried to play perfect dark with no expansion pack and it was not all there then.
You can get a power adapter for the 64 that will drop the voltage for you. You will also have to get an video converter box that will convert NTSC to PAL B/G. You should be able to get a traveler power kit that should have what you need. The adapter should convert the power down. Don't use just the adapter unless the 64 says it can handle a 240v power. the usa use a 110 to a 120 power grid and Spain use a 240v power grid. The retron 3 wont play nintendo 64 games. It olny will play nes snes and sega genesis games.
The Nintendo 64 is notorious for overheating problems. This is a very common problem. With my N64, I play it while a fan is blowing on it. This usually prevents the problem. Try this method. It should work.
Hope this helps!!
Because the 64 is somewhat old I would suggest getting an aerial splitter because the system may not be able to function properly with out it. Try it and see how it turns out. Or, if you don't mind, you could play that game on the computer if you have one. Download Project64 from:
You can do both. With internet you can download Nintendo 64 games on the wii shop channel. For game cube games enter the controller in slot one, enter the game and it's like you don't have a wii!
Note: due to the fact the the wii remote does not have enough buttons ALL N-64 games need a gamecube controller or a classical controller. Game Cube games are not compatible with classical controllers.
