Question about RIM BlackBerry 8800
Tonight the rollerball on my Blackberry Pearl will not work in the upward direction; only the downward direction. Is this something I can fix or is this a hardware problem?
Similar problem on 8800, but I may have splattered a drink on the trackball. If I put a drop of water on my finger and roll like mad, the contacts will work...but only for awhile. And in the process, some nearby keys quit working properly or start doing commands on their own. I may try the rubbing alcohol solution suggested.
On the BB 8800.......you need to have the board service....this will solve the problem on your 8800 Blackberry.
the roll ball......on the pearl....you need to have the pad on the board replaced so take it to a professional mobile technician and have that done.
