I dropped my WD 640 gb harddrive and now it makes

I dropped my WD 640 gb harddrive and now it makes a siren like sound. There is no clicking that I can tell, I just plug in the power and it makes that sound for a few seconds then nothing. The lights still blink and it shows up in my device manager, but according to the computer management thing It says it's not initialized. Don't know what to do.

Usually dropping the hard drive kills it and it sounds like this is the case with yours.
You can initialize the drive but do not format it unless you want to lose all the data. Hopefully after you initialze it you can read it, if not then you will have to attempt a data recovery.
