I have a GE GTS22WCP To Freezer Refrigerator which

I have a GE GTS22WCP To Freezer Refrigerator which is 5 years old. It works if we slam ligthly near the area where there is defrost control. Tech. came and he told me that my defrost control should be replaced. I did replace it but still it does not turn on by itself and near the defrost control are it runs continously for about 2 to 3 hours then it shuts off and never turn on automatically other than we slam by hand.
