I have a GE Washing Machine WBSE3120B1WW that is making a loud ''clicking'' noise during Spin phase. When there is less water there is no noise. I have the front panel off and can not determine where exactly the noise is coming from. The belt is moving, the transmission is moving intermittently during the spin phase. Need some help before I spend money on a part I may not need. Thanks.
Clicking noises are most often associated with bra wires , sticking in between the drums , have a good look all around the inner tub with a torch if you spot a wire sticking through carefully pull it out with pliers but dont loose it , once it goes all the way through it is neccesery to completely dismantle tub assy to remove it.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/17447564@N03/with/4016949524/ I'm trying to replace the tub hub. It is broke to many pieces. I have chiseled off the hub nut because it would not turn at all. But now I cannot get the center part of the hub out of the washer (see pictures in link above). I even tried a gear puller since the hub is broke from the tub I was able to use the gear puller but did not work. The gear puller actually bent :-( How can I get the rest of the hub off?
