I have never worked on this model before? when i push power set makes a high pitched noise 3 times and does not power up there is no click from the flyback? Unit has the ITC222,made in 2003 customer said they were watching it the set made a loud snap sound then shut down? I ordered the schematics from Thompson they gave me a hard time about it? whats up with that?said it would take 4-6 weeks to get them if you can help please do? Thank you.

Could be flyback, but there are alot of checks you will need to do like Data and Clock and IP551 for +1.8 volts stand by , and so on and so forth. You will need that schematic.

Nolan, heres the part number for the service manual on paper,
"PITC222" dealer cost is $54.95 at Tritronics, they show 3 in stock, souinds like you`ve got a bad flyback, hope this helps BMW Rider

There are two flat ribbion cables betwwen the deflection and signal board when you hear that sound the first thing to check is those cables make sure there seated first
