Problem for Zanussi FJS1225W Front Load Washer

machine locks door when turned on before programe is selected. can move down progs, spin speeds, special features etc. can skip/move down wash sequence from wash through rinse and spin to drain but when start button is selected nothing happens. appears to be in pause mode, start light just flashes blinks. Tested both pumps & heater element & all seem good.
Any ideas? Would Appreciate it if anyone has circuit diagrams for this too.

- Thanks but I checked the basics before pulling the machine apart for testing, I'm wondering what kind of fault causes this scenario?? PCB, door interlock water level sensors.
