Games wont play says disc error

does it play games at all ?

from the video id say its between the disc and the motherboard

faulty scratched or poorly positioned lazer or a bad wire or conection between cd drive and motherboard

thats if it wont play games at all

if it sometimes plays games sometimes not it gets more difficult to diagnose

Hello,You should replace your disc. May be your disc might have some error. Contact the store where you purchased your game and ask them to offer you a replacement Gaming disc immediately.

Yes this is the laser that is at faulty and the good thing is that it is quite easy to adjust at home you can use a good guide to fix this error or you can send it in and have it fixed.

If your Xbox 360 will not play your games this is because of the sensors on the back of the drive overheating it is not normally the laser.

If you are getting one of the above error messages:

Ensure that you are properly loading a Game Disc.

• If your console is placed vertically, the disc label will face to the right.
• If your console is placed horizontally, the disc label will face upwards

you will need to replace lens but due to the cost of the part i recommend you getting a new one or if not do a pot adjustment or clean lens with alcohol and Q-tip

Is your console still under warranty? If so, then send it in to Sony for repair.
