Google Macatte and you will discover that it is rogue-ware, or a trojan, which is supposed to get you to believe it is actually McAfee, It is a known bad application and the Google results will show you one of many ways to eradicate this piece of trash.
If possible, try to see if System Restore has a restore point which predates the appearance of this piece of garbage and, if so, then do a System Restore for a point just before the day it appeared into your system.
Just remember that this stuff is not approved by anyone, especially not Microsoft or any versions of Windows, and can muck up your system in a big way. You want, no you need to remove this garbage as quickly as you can, That way you can have a clean system and start fresh.
Use Norton's Anti-Virus, Panda, or even McAfee, but be sure you are using legitimate software. Also, check into Microsoft's OneCare, with which you can protect up to three computers, and it will enhance your version of Windows such that you won't know it's there, until it finds and destroys something dangerous.
Be careful, because there are lots of problems there, looking to embed themselves into your system.
Do not fall for the claim that you have a virus and yo0u must click this box to remove it, as anything you do with that box will only push it deeper into your system.
The only thing to use is the big red X in the upper right corner and get rid of it from your screen, before it loads itself.
