Question about Frigidaire GLEQ2152ES Electric Dryer
We've taken the entire dryer apart and replaced the teflon piece that the dryer spindle rides in. Nothing looked worn. Belt was fine. With the drum out we ran motor and no noise.
"spindle" would seem to refer to the rear drum bearing but teflon would describe the front. Have they both been done? Usually when one is worn out the other isn't far behind. Check the idler arm/wheel for wear. Also motors make a sound when the bearings are bad
