Sony cybershot turns on, shows ''cybershot'' logo, then turn off

I have a Sony cybershot dsc-s730 and ive had this camera for 2 years without any problems. yesterday i turned on my camera and it wouldnt turn on. it shows the cypershot logo and then the screen goes black again. at first i thought it was just the battery so i out in two new double A's and still nothing. i dont know if its something thats fixable, and if so where could i go get it fixed to, or if i should just give up and buy a new camera. help?
