There should be a reset button somewhere on the router itself. Most of the time its on the back, (if it has a antenna near them) If not log into the administration panel.

Most routers do not have a CD, however, if you can give me a model number i could help you out more. If you are using Linksys, in your browser type in for a url "192.168.1.100" and it will ask you for a username/password. leave the password blank, and type "admin" for password. Last time I knew that was the base setting for out of the box Linksys routers

Hi friend

At the back of the router you will see a tiny red or black button that is a reset button, push and press that button for 30secs and unplug the power cable from the router for another 30 secs. your router is now reset.

There is a RESET pin hole on the back of the Linksys wireless router.
Press and hole for 30 secs with the power on.
It will return to the factory defaults.
The reconfigure the Linksys :-
Connect a LAN cable fron your computer to the Linksys and open IE browser, the configuration URL is http://192.168.1.1
The login = admin and the PW = admin
