Question about Epson Stylus CX5800F All-In-One InkJet Printer
When I try to print files directly from the internet the printer hangs. The job stays in the print queue with the message "printing" but nothing ever comes out. Cannot delete the job from the queue either. Have to power off PC and reboot to clear.
What do I do?
1. check the printer, make a copy
2. check connectivity, open device manager - USB Printing Support(under Universal Serial Bus Controllers) must be there - swap cable/port if it´s not
3. uninstall, reboot then re install printer driver

Tips for a great answer:
Apr 11, 2013 | HP LaserJet 4100 Printer
- Browse to your windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\ folder - You should see files there ending in .SPL and .SHD created around the time you tried to print - delete these files. - Browse to Start -> Run... and type in "NET START SPOOLER" (this will restart the print spooler service) - Double click the printer icon in the lower-right corner of your taskbar to examine your print job queue and browse to View -> Refresh.
Try to print again.
