Question about Motorola Mobility V360 Cellular Phone

Motorola V360 Text Freeze

I have a Motorola V360 which was working just fine one minute and the nexte, POOF!! I can receive texts, but if I go to create a message or reply to a text with a text...the phone completely freezes and I have to remove the battery to get it to start again. Time for a new phone? :)

    I have the exact same problem I can type 3 letters in text or phonebook and the phone locks up and i have to pull the battery to unfreeze

To disable predictive texting on Motorola V360:

  1. Select the "Texting," "Text Messaging" or similar option on the menu screen.
  2. Choose the "Text Options" or "Options" selection on the "Text Messaging" screen. Choose "New Message" or "New Msg" if no "Options" selection is available, then press the button associated with the "Options" selection found on the blank message screen.
  3. Select "Entry Mode" on the screen. A list of options appear.

Received text messages


This is an international symbol on the start of area codes. IE I live in Australia ans text messages received from other Australian mobiles have +61 which is the AUS international area code. If you replace the +61 with a 0 (in the case of AUS text messages) this is now the full mobile number the text was received from. Hope this helps.

try contacting your network sim operator and ask them to send you the text / mms numbers settings to your phone sounds like they are missing this can cause texts and mms to not be sent recieved

Carry out the 'Master Clear' function. First save all your contacts by synchronizing with Motorola Phone Tools. Go to Settings>Initial Setup> Master Clear, and do a Master Reset as well. Worked for me
