Lcd tv screen stays black, but with sound

My Protron lcd tv screen goes black, but the sound still works. I keep trying to turn it on and off, but it still doesn't work. Can you help?

Hi.

Your problem sounds like inverter has failed this will give no picture only sound.

The inverter generates HT to run the tubes behind screen.
I know of A place in the UK that sells inverters but they are not cheep to buy.

just open up the tv 2 the main bord then look for a littler green button press it and then plug it in and it will work i did it 2 mine
