Intuos 3 has stopped working on Vista 64-bit workstation. Newest drivers installed. No blue light and a "USB device not recognized" prompt. Other devices working fine in ALL USB ports. Tablet works fine with newest drivers on other computer (32-bit XP). This tablet has worked flawlessly on this workstation for over a year with this OS.

- Solved! Turn off the computer. Pull the power cable. Wait 5 minutes or so. Plug it back in and get back to work. No more USB device unrecognized or whatever in the Device Manager.

- Fixed this by powering down and unplugging the power cable then waiting a few minutes.

I have a Macbook Pro running on Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6), and an Intuos3 tablet. The tablet works as a plug and play, but I'm unable to get to the preferences software to make the tablet work full-screen. After doing a search for the preferences software program and installing two drivers (one off of the wacom site, one off of my original install disc), the program still isn't showing up. The wacom site doesn't have an faq for the intuos3 on 10.6 - help!

Have Genius Gpen F-509 graphics tablet. Installed correctly on housemates Mac. Installed fine on my laptop (xp home, sp3) but when I try to install it on my desktop (shuttle sn27p2 running xp pro, sp3) it doesn't work. In device manager the tablet is displayed as various HID compliant devices and also a HID compliant mouse (the same as on my laptop). One of which has an exclamation mark on and Code 10 error - device unable to start. If you try and update drivers it says there's no drivers for it. It keeps coming up with message saying it's trying to install wt6563 and fails. I've tried reinstalling usb 2.0 host controllers, uninstalling the HID compliant devices and trying installing them again. I thought maybe the microsoft intellitype and intellipoint software for my usb mouse/keyboard might be intefering so uninstalled those. Yet again no joy. Rang Genius (KYE technologies) who weren't much help and said try unplugging it and plugging it back in. Great 'technical' advice. Have even tried copying the drivers that are in use from the laptop to the PC. Still nothing. The laptop uses usb 1.1, desktop usb 2.0. I really can't fathom this one out. Been dredgind microsoft support sites with no joy. Has anyone got any suggestions?

[Wacom Intuos 3 Tablet w/USB connection]My tablet worked fine yesterday all day and when I plugged it into my computer's USB port this morning, nothing happened. The little blue light the shows the power is not coming on. I tried it on every computer I own, even different operating systems, and it just won't turn on even if the USB ports are working. I just got this tablet new two days ago...so please help!
