I recently got a new HP computer last weekend and it came with the new Windows Vista program. Since I got this new computer when I try to use my webcam it says that it is in use or not plugged in. I checked and it IS plugged in, and when I am downloading it from the CD it came with it tells me that there was a problem and the downloading has failed. Why is it not working? Is it not compatable with Windows Vista? thanks
Jennifer Can't connect QuickCam 8.3.0 to my new HP computer with Windows Vista..when I try installing the software I am told that it is incompatiable..is there help besides getting a new webcam?
I cannot check you camera for you but you can check it here -- it works with pictures.
Look for your product each of the two links provided (the older items are on the second link).
Note toward the center of the page -- Other Downloads this is a list of items to download often there is more than one.
Choose operating system above for each item Checkout the download instructions bottom of page for each item Click Download Software to get the software
Unfortunately all items do not display download software and some say drivers/software are not available.
