Can I view the photos on my SD card on the camera and not use USB cord, or do I have to put SD card in computer?

Yes, most cameras allow you to view pictures on the camera! Obviously viewing on a PC screen would be clearer because of the screen size compared with the smaller camera screen!

I have a panasonic lumix DMC-FS7. Used it for many years with 4GB SD card insitu. Recently took some precious photos and am trying to copy photos from camera to PC. When I plug the camera into my PC it...

If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

When i remove the sd card to upload photos to my computer my new pictures are not there but are when the sd card is in the camera?

There are two possibilities that I can think of. 1) The SD card is full. You will need to copy the pictures off the SD card and onto your computer, then format the card. You can probably do this in the camera, but MAKE SURE you have copied the pictures you want to your computer because the format will erase everything. 2) The SD card is write protected. Look closely at the SD card there is a little slide switch that "locks" the SD card so that your camera cannot put any pictures on it. This slide switch must be in the unlocked position (or NOT locked).
Hope this helps.

Help how do i run my movie clip on my coolpix. thanks bill

go to view your photos saved on your sd card... when you reach the movie clip, press the play button. the up and down might control the volume as well.
alternatively, please take the sd card out and use a card reader and transfer to pc all photos and videos.. then you can view it from the computer.

I have a Eos Digital and was trying to view my photos on the computer by using my USB and was only able to access and view half of the photos b/c a message corrupted files flashed on. Please Help. I want...

If the files themselves are actually corrupted, there is not a way to fix them-- if instead there was some sort of error with the transfer of information between the camera and computer, then this is something that you can troubleshoot.
Your best bet would be to remove the SD card from the camera, (this is accessible from the door on the bottom of the camera) and use a regular SD card reader (something you can pick up at your local camera shop, or even at Walmart) to view the files on the card. This removes the camera from the equation, in the event that there is something wrong with it.
If you attempt to transfer the files when using just a regular SD card reader, and the transfer fails or your computer indicates that the files are corrupted, then you may need to resort to either a professional data recovery service (which may be offered by a local camera shop), or you may just not be able to recover the files in their entirety.

Your previous camera wasn't another Z35, was it? Most cameras will not display pictures that were taken with another camera. The old pictures are most likely still on the card. You can plug the card into a card reader and transfer them to a computer.

Unable to view pics

Copy the existing photos on to your PC, switch off the camera. Remove the SD card and format the SD-card using a SD-card reader, this will clear all the card contents. Now try using it in your Camera again. Ideally, you should be able to save photos on this SD card. Other way would be to insert another SD card into your camera and click photos and check whether those photos are being saved into the SD card(this can be done using display option in your digicam.)
