Problem for Palm TX Handheld
I had a power flicker
I had a power flicker during the time I was hot syncing my Palm TX. The hot sync did not work, and it would not hot sync at all after that. On advice from Palm's website, I downloaded the latest desk software and tried again. No luck. Then I soft reset the hand held and tried -- no luck. A tech-savvy friend advised me to hard reset and then reload the hand held from the desktop. That didn't work either. Now I have no communication between hand held and desk top. I have checked to make sure the USB port is functional. I'm all out of ideas and need help.

If so much has happened to your handheld then the only thing left to be done is a reinstall of the firmware, as that is the only solution to a corrupt firmware because of the power glitch while it was doing something. The glitch has corrupted the firmware and thats how it needs a reinstall. Nothing serious but such things do happen i electronics.
