Getting the following error on boot up right after the ibm splash screen: ERROR Resource conflict - PCI Serial Bus Controller in slot 7 Bus:15, Device::00, Function:01

If it is not making it to Windows at all...Generally occurs when two devices are using the same IRQ or memory allocation. This can sometimes be set in BIOS depending on the manufacturer etc. I would start by going in BIOS and restoring the default settings. There should be a menu item in BIOS usually something like "Restore Default".
If it is making it to windows then you probably just have a missing or corrupt driver. Generally this would fall under a chipset driver which can be downloaded for free from hp's site. You can also download and run Everest or SIW to properly id the device in question.

Whenever I turn on my laptop I get the Error: Resource Conflict-PCI Network Controller on Motherboard Bus:08, Device:00, Function:00 Bus:08, Device:01, Function:00

You have a device that is attempting to use the same IRQ as another device that has loaded before it. Go into the device manager and look for a device that has a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside. You may find a couple.... Open the device properties and see if you get some indication of which other device it is having conflicts with. Then it is a matter of uninstalling one of the devices and rebooting, letting Windows re-detect the device and install it again...hopefully with the correct IRQ assignment this time.

Resource Conflict - PCI on Motherboard Bus:0A, Device:09, Function:00 = CARDREADER PROBLEM

I did try all that, and it didnt work, on a 5050 acer built on a 3100 gabinet.

I think that the problem is that the cardreader chip is not well glued to the motherboard, that's why it gives you that error. If you try pressing certain points of the computer while booting, it miraculously stops giving that conflict error.

We should be payed back by Acer, as this is an project issue =P

Re: Hi :) plese help

try to refer this problem to your manufacturer/ store owner of your laptop because most probably its either your memory(RAM) or your video card needs to be may have loose their connections.

because in the desktop PC's, these are the common problems especially upon booting up your computer.
