Bolsh E-NR WET2820GB

Hello experts... i have a Bolsh washer/dryer E-NR WET2820GB and when using the drying feature the clothes arent drying.

I assume this is because i need to change the heating element...if this is the case can i do this myself or do i have to spend money on a call out charge.

Any help or advise would be appreciated...many thanks, anthony

How do i do drying only

From the document I see, it is only a matter of pressing the "Dry" button. This is from the manual, available at and selecting the "Support" tab. On the right, there will be a "Washer/Dryer Combos Manual" link, which will download to your computer. Listed under "Dry" in Section 9 is the following.
• Drying options are easily selected with the Dry button. • For most even drying , make sure all articles in the clothes load are similar in material and thickness. • Do not overload dryer by stuffing too many articles into drum. Items must be able to tumble freely • If you open door and remove load before dryer has finished its cycle, remember to press the Start/Pause button. • By pressing the Dry button, you can select "Normal" - "More" - "Time" - "Off" - "Low Temp" - "Less" • Your dryer can handle a load of up to 9 lbs. (4 kg) dry weight of articles. • When drying cycle is completed, [Cd] (Cool Down) is displayed on the Multi display. • Cool Down is set automatically when the drying cycle is complete. • If clothes are not removed promptly when the drying cycle ends, wrinkles can form. • The Cool Down feature periodically tumbles, rearranges and fluffs the load to avoid wrinkles for up to 4 hours. • The message [Cd] will continue to display until the clothes are removed or the Start/Pause button is pressed
Hope this solves your problem. I highly recommend downloading the users manual, it is a wealth of information and will prove useful in many circumstances.

We have a Bosch washing machine E-nr wet2820GB / 13 FD 8101 0017. Recently it has started making an unusual, very loud 'crunching' noise during the wash cycle, it then stops on 'main wash',...

There is a clutch that gets dry and sticks it has to be greased from time to time.
It sounds like the clutch cannot slide on the spline and is causing the issue at hand.

The machine fills with water during drying cycle and does not fill for the wash cycle

First, did you know that this machine steam dries clothes? The first thing it does on the dry cycle is to wet the clothes which it then heats to dry with condensation. There are better answers regarding this feature on fixya. But assuming that the dry cycle is working as well as it ever does, it appears that your wash cycle is not functioning properly. I would need more info to figure out why it is not filling with water / working at all.

I have an LG Washer and Dryer Combo #WM3431HS. It takes forever to dry. Is this a common problem?

hello. I can help you. Typically this problem is related to a partially clogged dryer vent pipe. pull the dryer out from the wall and remove the vent pipe. check every thing and remove any lint or other blockage in the rear of the dryer and in the vent. Dont forget to go outdoors and check the place where the pipe dumps the dryer air outdoors as it may be clogged there also.

Candy washer dryer not drying

there is a safety feature which advances the timer to a stop position if it overheats on dry. this is caused by poor air flow.
to cure, take the dryer duct off mand clean of lint. this especially accumulates at the bend where the duct enters the tub.

Tumble dryer not working

I managed to solve the problem the following way: I noticed that if you unplug the Sensor-NTC(part nimber 154431 ) that controls temperature of air in the air channel, the drying cycle runs as you describe above. So this circute was checked up to the power module. Contacts of the Sensors plug were tightened; I think this solved the problem; resistance of the sensor checked. It must be 4.8K at 25 degree C. and decrease when temperature increases. I dipped the sensor in a glass with hot water.

Washer dryer is no longer drying

two things to check take rear half of cabinet off and check the dryer duct (lhs from front) is not blocked. this is very common check water is being taken in during dry - the water is used to condense steam from the drying clothes. easiest way to check this is to see that some water is being drained during the drying cycle. i assume that drain is operating ok

Machine runs, but clothing won't dry

It sounds like your heating element is shot. The elements on this machine are very sensitive and if you use too much cleaning fluid the part will wear down after a while. You will need to get the part replaced (yuck) and start to use a little less washer fluid. Please let me know about your experience with the company (
