Bolsh E-NR WET2820GB

Hello experts... i have a Bolsh washer/dryer E-NR WET2820GB and when using the drying feature the clothes arent drying.

I assume this is because i need to change the heating element...if this is the case can i do this myself or do i have to spend money on a call out charge.

Any help or advise would be appreciated...many thanks, anthony

The auto dry sensor cycle shuts down before clothes are totally dry -paul

Hello Paul,

The problem with your dryer very likely is that the sensor bar is dirty and needs to be cleaned...especially if your using fabric softner sheets they leave a coating on the sensor bar and it cant properly read that the clothes arent yet dry.
Its very easy to clean the sensor bar, just need to use some rubbing alcohol and the green scrubby side of a kitchen sponge and clean the sensor bar, then rinse with plain water.

Why does dryer stop when the clothing is still damp?

I`m assuming you have not received any error code from the dryer since you didn`t mention that, but would I be correct ?

Have you tried both timed dry and auto dry settings ? If this happening in both setting`s it will help narrow down what to look for.

Are the cloth`s typically spun out really well by the washer ( and is it a Bosch Nexxt as well ) before entering the dryer ?

I will watch for your response in this post and hopefully I`ll be able to help find an acceptable solution for you.

The machine fills with water during drying cycle and does not fill for the wash cycle

First, did you know that this machine steam dries clothes? The first thing it does on the dry cycle is to wet the clothes which it then heats to dry with condensation. There are better answers regarding this feature on fixya. But assuming that the dry cycle is working as well as it ever does, it appears that your wash cycle is not functioning properly. I would need more info to figure out why it is not filling with water / working at all.

Clothes arent getting dry

If yours is a gas dryer check out the ignitor for the spark for the burner. It should click within 30 seconds upon starting up ther dryer with the switch set to the heat mode. If not clicking the ignitor is in need of a replacement

Maytag gas dryer wont turn off when done drying in auto dry regular fabrics. does turn off in air fluff and auto dry perm. press. model # d3382

auto dry relies on a moisture sensor to say when its done. so your clothes arent dry enough according to sensor. perm. press. doesnt dry the clothes as much

I have a gas Whirlpool Duet dryer and sometimes the cycle wont complete and the clothes arent dry ( very damp). when i use the timed dry option i ave the same result. last week my washer overflowed and i...

Check your exit vent outside of your house... what you can do is remove vent hose on back of your dryer... run dryer and feel the air coming out of the vent right behind your dryer.. now reinstall your vent line and check outside,,, see if you feel the same or about the same air flow... if your air flow is block, then your heat will not come on regularly to dry clothes... good luck

Tumble dryer not working

I managed to solve the problem the following way: I noticed that if you unplug the Sensor-NTC(part nimber 154431 ) that controls temperature of air in the air channel, the drying cycle runs as you describe above. So this circute was checked up to the power module. Contacts of the Sensors plug were tightened; I think this solved the problem; resistance of the sensor checked. It must be 4.8K at 25 degree C. and decrease when temperature increases. I dipped the sensor in a glass with hot water.
