My daughter has this camera bought less than 3 months ago- It makes 3 beeping noises and turns off. We replaced memory card and batteries- test them in my camera first to make sure they do work and they do, but not in hers- Please help..... Is there a way to reset the camera? or should we just return it?
thank you,
Shannon
my camera occasionally decides to turn on and work fine (beside the fact that it takes bad pictures) usually, however, when i press the power button the light blinks green once and does nothing. i contacted customer service and sent in my camera to be fixed. when i finally got something back, they said the camera was defective and they gave me a brand new one for free.
however, now that i have the new one (which i take really good care of) it does the same thing. now i have a great desire to chuck it against the wall.
I have had this camera for only a few months-my previous Polaroid i531 was defective so they sent me this new one. Now whenever I put fully charged batteries in, it beeps three times and shuts off! I've tried different batteries & memory cards. Nothing works! I'm done with Polaroid.

I took our recently purchased i533 with me on my first ever ATV adventure to the Little Sahara sand dunes in Oklahoma. I had used this camera around the house for sporting events and various other reasons and have aways been happy with it. I was really excited to capture my much anticipated vacation.
After an 8 hour drive I was ready to go. I put fresh batteries in the camera and headed out to enjoy my experience. I took a picture and everything worked fine. I went to take another picture about 5 minutes later and the cameras screen came on momentarily and then turned off, followed by three beeps. I thought it was the batteries, so I switched in three more sets. All of them had the same results.
I am going to contact Polaroid and see how to fix the problem. I am very unhappy about this situation. I hope that Polaroid stands behind their product and helps me rectify this situation.

Girlfriend took it with her on a trip and when i went to turn it on it comes on for about a second or two, beeps three times, then dies :(
I dropped my camera and the lens seems to be uneaven and stuck.
When I try to turn it on it beeps three times and then turns off.
What should I do to fix it??
I noticed that mine did the same thing and "cheaper" batteries was the cause of it, I had bought some Energizer and Duracell and it was fine. I bought some rechargable batteries and never had the problem again

Here is how I fixed this problem. I grasped the lens around the base
(larger part) like you would if you were going take off a beer bottle
cap.
Very gently while sliding my thumb and index finger
around the lens, I rocked it back and forth. DO NOT TRY TO TWIST OR
PUSH,.....It felt like it "popped" back on track.
My
assumption was it was probably hit from the side, and could not
retract, once it was rocked back on track, it worked fine. It felt like
it loosened a tiny bit as well.
Good luck.

I called the Polaroid customer service line. The guy I talked to said he had no idea-he would have to see the camera to diagnose the problem. Then he told me that, since the camera was past warranty, I couldn't mail it to him. Needless to say, I won't be buying any more Polaroid products.
